Malcolm Beatty Obe

Malcolm Beatty OBE serves as a Non Executive Director at The Office for Environmental Protection and holds trustee positions at the Field Studies Council and Centre Ministries. As a Governor at St Colman's High School and Sixth Form College, Malcolm contributes administrative expertise to support effective school governance. Previously, Malcolm was the Agency Accounting Officer and Chief Executive of the Forest Service at the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, overseeing a staff of 200 and engaging in environmental policy and forestry strategies. Additional roles include Director positions in EU Compliance and Veterinary Policy at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for Northern Ireland. Malcolm's academic background includes a Master of Science in Public Administration from the University of Warwick and degrees in Regional and Rural Resource Planning and Forestry from the University of Aberdeen.
