Divakar Challa has worked for several companies throughout their career. In 2021, they began working for Files.com as a Senior Product Manager. From 2013 to 2021, they worked for Syncplicity by Axway, where they held the roles of Senior Technical Product Manager, Director Of Engineering, Engineering Manager, and Principal Software Engineer. From 2006 to 2013, they worked for Symantec as an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer. From 2003 to 2006, they worked for FEI Company as a Senior Software Engineer. Finally, from 2001 to 2003, they worked for Media Channels as a Software Engineer.

Divakar Challa completed their Master's degree in Information Technology from Aspen University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their MCA in Computer Science from the Dept. of Electronics Govt. of India between 1998 and 2001.
