Chris Pitt

Chris Pitt serves as the Chief Executive Officer of first direct since September 2020, focusing on enhancing customer service and challenging industry norms in banking. Prior to this role, Chris held significant marketing leadership positions at HSBC, including Head of Marketing for HSBC UK and UK Head of Marketing, where responsibility encompassed various brands and teams across multiple locations. Earlier experience includes serving as Marketing Director at Tesco Bank and heading marketing for HSBC in Europe, where Chris was instrumental in developing customer insights and marketing strategies. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Loughborough University.
