John Castro has a diverse work experience. Johnn began their career in 2017 as a Freelance Software Developer, where they developed custom software for various clients using Node.js for backend development and React and Angular for frontend development. Johnn also performed software maintenance. In 2018, they joined First Factory as a Software Developer and later progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer. In 2019, they became a Software Engineer and in 2020, they took on the position of Technical Lead. Currently, they are serving as an Engineering Manager at First Factory, starting in June 2021.
Johnn Castro received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Técnica Nacional. Johnn attended the university from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their degree, Johnn obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020.
