Derwin Shelley

Derwin Shelley is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience in talent acquisition and people operations. Currently serving as Vice President of People Operations at First Help Financial since January 2020, Shelley previously held the position of Director of Talent Acquisition at Aetion, where significant advancements in recruiting strategies and processes were achieved. Prior experience includes roles at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence as Vice President of Human Resources and Director of Human Resources, where comprehensive HR strategies and diversity initiatives were implemented. Notable earlier roles include Senior Executive Recruiter at Allegis Global Solutions and Consultant at Curran Partners, Inc. Derwin holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Law & Diplomacy from Brigham Young University and a certification in Strategic Human Resources Leadership from Cornell University ILR School.
