Jessica Hughes is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in systems and manufacturing engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at First Mode since September 2023, Jessica previously held the role of Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Blue Origin, focusing on fluid systems integration for New Glenn's Stage 1. Prior experience at Boeing spanned over 13 years, where responsibilities included developing NC programming and software for composites fabrication, as well as hardware development for carbon-fiber epoxy composite parts. Jessica's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University and a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Northwestern University, complemented by research assistant roles at both Northwestern University and Harvard University.
