Khandkar Iftekhar Ahmad was born in Pabna in the year 1951. He is a retired Air Commodore of Bangladesh Air Force. During his service period, he served different important positions in Bangladesh Air Force and abroad. After retirement, he has served in several higher positions in various reputed Civil Organizations in the country.
Khandkar Iftekhar Ahmad has attended in various national and international seminars in the country and abroad.
He has travelled many countries around the world for service purposes.

First Security Islami Bank Limited was incorporated on 29 August 1999 as a commercial bank. It started operations on 25 October 1999 with an authorized capital of 1 billion taka. From 2009 the bank started sharia banking. The Bank sponsored the National School Hockey Tournament.
