Shubham Bansal

Shubham Bansal is an established engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Firstbase.com since February 2024, Shubham previously held the role of Director of Engineering at Stash, overseeing the Accounts and Money movement engineering group. Shubham's earlier tenure at Flexport as Senior Engineering Manager for Trucking involved leading a team of over 50 engineers, focusing on pricing, planning, execution, and billing products. Shubham also served as Director of Engineering at Backstop Solutions Group, where coaching engineering managers and guiding teams to deliver quality software were pivotal responsibilities. Early career roles include Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at TradeHelm, Inc., developing electronic trading applications. Shubham holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from DIT University.
