Jill Schmitz

Jill Schmitz is an experienced professional with a diverse background in operations and event management. Currently serving as a Product Operations Coordinator at FiscalNote since October 2023, Jill previously held several key positions including Project Manager and Senior Manager of PPIM Data Quality. At Curate, from October 2022 to October 2023, Jill supported teams in navigating policy changes through AI-powered legislative tracking software. Jill’s experience also includes directing operations at Badger Challenge, overseeing logistics for large-scale events, and managing organizational events at the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau. Earlier roles at UW-Madison involved coordinating various conferences and events, showcasing strong expertise in logistical management and coordination. Jill earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts and Women's Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008.
