Simon Tragatschnig has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Simon is the COO, managing director, and co-founder of fiskaly, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to that, they were a lecturer and research assistant at the University of Vienna from 2010 to 2018. Simon also served as a lecturer at Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt from 2016 to 2018. Simon has experience as a software engineer at AMOS Austria Gmbh from 2014 to 2015 and as a software developer at M2N Consulting from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, they worked as a teaching assistant and tutor at Technische Universität Wien and the University of Vienna from 2006 to 2008. Simon's early career started as a web developer at ICE Vienna from 2004 to 2008 and they also had a brief experience in development and support at Mercury Business Solutions GmbH in 2006.
Simon Tragatschnig has a PhD in Informatik from the University of Vienna, completed in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a DI (MSc) in Business Informatics from Technische Universität Wien in 2009 and a Bakk.rer.soc.oec (BSc) in Business Informatics from the same institution in 2006. In 2017, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Digital Consultant from incite.
