Jeff Moore

Jeff joined Flagship Pioneering in 2019 and is Senior Vice President, Facilities & Venture Debt. In this role, he is responsible for leading real estate and venture debt across the Flagship Enterprise and works closely with Flagship leadership as well as the growing portfolio of ProtoCo and NewCo companies.

Jeff offers more than 25 years of financial and operations experience building rapidly-emerging life science companies and serving in senior financial and operational roles for a number of public and private companies within the Flagship ecosystem. Jeff most recently served as SVP of Finance and Administration at Kaleido Biosciences. Prior to this he was SVP, Finance and Operations for Axcella Health and served in similar roles with a number of companies including Helicos BioSciences, Joule Unlimited, BG Medicine, and Affinnova, Inc. Prior to joining Flagship’s ecosystem, Jeff served as the Director of Business Analysis and Planning at Celera Genomics, the first biotechnology firm to sequence the human genome, and as Vice President, Treasury Operations and Chief Accounting Officer at PerSeptive Biosystems. Jeff began his career with Price Waterhouse in its Emerging Growth Company practice providing audit and advisory services to both private and public life science and technology companies.

Jeff received his B.S. degree from Cornell University and a M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
