We have UK sites in Stevenage, Sandy, Spalding and Weston and large scale farming operations in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa. The FFBV and FV Select businesses operate out of the Westland region in Holland, the Omniflora business is located near Frankfurt airport in Germany and our Dudutech business is based in Naivasha, Kenya. The company was formed in 1982 and grew through a series of organic and acquisitive developments until 2007, when it was itself acquired by James Finlay Limited (JFL). Following a successful period, which saw a significant period of capital investment, under the ownership of JFL the business was sold to Sun Capital in November 2015 and reverted to using the name Flamingo Horticulture in January 2016. The group has an annual turnover in excess of £300 million and employs more than 10,000 people across all of our locations.
