Cameron Carr

Cameron Carr is the Chief Strategy Officer at Flex, the manufacturing partner of choice that helps a diverse customer base design and build products to improve the world. Mr. Carr oversees the company’s corporate strategy function, which includes market and competitive intelligence. In this role, he is focused on developing and implementing strategic investments, initiatives and partnerships for near and long-term growth.

Prior to joining Flex, Mr. Carr was the head of competitive strategy for the U.S. market at Microsoft. In this role, Mr. Carr led a team that was responsible for competitive market strategy and competitor intelligence across all Microsoft product lines. He oversaw critical elements of Microsoft’s approximately $50B U.S. business while he developed strategic recommendations across key functions, including sales, marketing, operations and technology. Mr. Carr also designed the company’s overarching investment strategy to drive competitive wins and capture overall market share. During his more than decade-long tenure at Microsoft, Mr. Carr held other leadership roles and helped architect and activate the company’s Internet of Things strategy, delivering expansive growth across different areas of the business.

Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Carr was a founder of a technology and entertainment company and a technology investment banker, covering a wide range of industries including semiconductor, communications, software and clean technologies.

Mr. Carr holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Princeton University.
