Casi Shimizu

Casi Shimizu is a seasoned human resources professional currently serving as the Sr Director of HR Business Partner, Talent and People Operations at Flexport since July 2023. Prior to this role, Casi spent nearly three years at Amazon, where positions included Sr HR Manager and Principal HR Leader within Last Mile Technology. Casi's extensive experience began at Nordstrom, covering various HR leadership roles from Senior HR Business Partner to Regional Sales Manager over a decade. Casi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Washington, a Master of Science in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, and completed a Certificate Program in Organizational Development at Villanova University, along with additional education at Georgetown University.
