Katie Aspell

Katie Aspell is currently serving as Bene Gesserit at Flexport since June 2023, following the company's acquisition of Shopify Logistics. Prior to this, Katie worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Shopify from July 2022 to June 2023, during which Shopify acquired Deliverr to create Shopify Logistics. Katie's earlier experience includes roles as Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Deliverr Inc. from May 2018 to July 2022, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining backend services. Katie began their career as part of the fulfillment engineering team at Symphony Commerce from March 2015 to May 2018 and has also held positions at SchoolMint, in web and mobile app development consulting, and in Facebook game development. Katie holds degrees from UCLA and City College of San Francisco.
