Ellen Chikarova

Ellen Chikarova serves as the Chief Risk Officer at FlexShopper since November 2023, previously holding the position of Head of Strategic Analytics at Citi from November 2018 to May 2023, where responsibilities included developing innovative risk management strategies leveraging big data and alternative sources. Prior to that, Ellen Chikarova spent over 13 years at GE Capital, culminating as Managing Director and Analytics Leader, overseeing a significant risk analytics function. Earlier roles at GE included Director of Advanced Analytics, SVP of Risk Management, and Portfolio Manager in the Chief Risk Officer's office, where Ellen Chikarova developed proprietary risk models and frameworks. In the earlier career, Ellen Chikarova worked at GE Asset Management, contributing as a Securities Analyst in Structured Finance and an FP&A Manager, and began as a Business Analyst and Systems Analyst at General Electric. Ellen Chikarova earned a Master's degree in Statistics/Financial Engineering from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Fairfield University.
