Ben Burwell is a Senior Software Engineer at FlightAware since March 2023, focusing on the Flight Tracking team to integrate global flight data into a unified live air traffic feed. Prior to this role, Ben served as a Senior Software Engineer at Syniti from February 2020 to February 2023, contributing to the development of the company's cloud platform following its acquisition of Virtyx. Ben was a Software Engineer at Virtyx Technologies from June 2017 to February 2020, being instrumental in the end-to-end process of cloud product development. Earlier experiences include positions at Trifecta Technologies as both Developer and Associate Developer from July 2015 to June 2017, and a Software Engineer internship at Lutron Electronics in the summer of 2014, where Ben developed a customized version of Wireshark for proprietary protocols. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Muhlenberg College, earned in May 2015.
