The Role

We are seeking a talented Digital Designer & Animator who combines exceptional design expertise with dynamic animation capabilities. You’ll work on creating visually compelling, user-focused digital assets for diverse platforms, with an emphasis on video editing, motion graphics, and brand storytelling. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as Figma is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Asset Design
  • Create high-quality product listings, banners, animations, and promotional assets for eCommerce and social media platforms.
  • Produce optimized enhanced content, storefront visuals, and product videos that elevate the quality of our ads and product lists, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and consistency.
  • Design A/B testing variants to optimize asset performance.
  • Apply principles of type, layout, spacing, and visual structure to optimize readability and impact tailored for various devices (mobile, desktop, tablet).
• Animation & Motion Graphics
  • Develop motion graphics and video edits using Adobe After Effects and Premiere.
  • Craft storyboards, animations, and interactive assets to elevate engagement and storytelling.
• Collaborative Design Systems
  • Develop scalable, reusable design components and style guides to maintain consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Leverage tools like Figma for real-time collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Ensure assets adhere to digital specifications (RGB, PPI settings) and web-optimized formats for seamless performance across devices.

Software Proficiency Expectations

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere).
• Proficient in Figma for prototyping and collaboration.
• Experience with motion graphics and video editing is essential.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in digital design and motion graphics.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design and animation skills (portfolio link required with application).
• Expertise in creating responsive designs for various devices (mobile, desktop, tablet).
• Advanced understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and animation principles.
• Ability to incorporate interaction design and animations to enhance engagement.
• Self-starting ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects quickly and efficiently
• Strong work ethic and desire to continually learn and improve
• Scrappy, startup mindset with no fear of taking ownership swiftly to develop a vision
• Desire to win and inherently competitive spirit

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing assets for A/B testing and performance optimization
• Previous experience working in fast-paced CPG or services company as a digital creative with formal education in design is a plus
• Expert-level knowledge of digital technicalities, including formats, specs, and best practices on different platforms
