Foresight Fellow In Safe Artificial General Intelligence (agi) at The Foresight Institute

Xiaohu Zhu is a prominent founder and researcher in the field of artificial intelligence and safety, currently serving as the Founder of the Center for Safe AGI since November 2019, where the focus is on developing systematic approaches for safe AGI deployment and collaborating with leading AI experts. In addition, Xiaohu holds various roles including Interim Secretariat for the Coalition for a Baruch Plan for AI, Senior Research Scientist at Nanjing University, and AI Research Affiliate with the Future of Life Institute, while also being a Foresight Fellow at the Foresight Institute since December 2020. Xiaohu has previously founded Uplifts Life and University AI, and served as Chief Technology Officer at AI-Industry. Earlier experience includes a position as Lead Data Scientist at jianshu.com, specializing in text understanding and recommender systems. Xiaohu holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Nanjing University, earned between 2009 and 2012.
