FORLIANCE
Astrid Manciu is an experienced professional in sustainability, climate strategy, and partnership management. Currently serving as an Expert in Markets, Policy & Guidance and Executive Operations Manager at FORLIANCE since September 2020, Astrid has previously held roles such as Manager of Partnerships in Climate Solutions. Prior experiences include an internship in Sustainability and Climate Strategy Consulting at sustainable AG, where GHG accounting and sustainability benchmarking were key responsibilities, a student assistant position at TUM: Junge Akademie, and a scientific assistant role at the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV. Earlier positions include an internship at the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC System GmbH), where improvements were made to social sustainability indices and GHG calculators, and a role supporting Bavarian-Québec cooperations. Astrid holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Resource Management from the Technical University of Munich, a Master Thesis completed at Universidad del Rosario, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Management from OTH Regensburg.
