Richard Lile

Richard Lile is a seasoned engineering professional with a robust background in compliance and research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Compliance Engineer at Form Energy since February 2024, Richard previously held the position of Staff R&D Test Engineer at GAF Energy from June 2020 to February 2024. A former Test Engineering Intern at Tesla in late 2019, Richard contributed to the design of testing fixtures for thermal and interior systems. Richard's experience includes research on robotic prosthetics as a Lead Research Intern at SFSU CARE Lab and managing the Rapid Prototyping Lab at San Francisco State University, where leadership enhanced 3D printing success rates. Richard's early career involved customer service and maintenance roles at Petersons Paint and Decorating and painting experience with Doolittle Painting. Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Francisco State University.
