Alex Hope

Alex Hope has extensive experience in electrical systems management, particularly within the Formula 1 organization from June 2014 to the present, where roles include Head of Energy and Electrical Systems, Electrical Systems Manager, and Electrical Supervisor. Responsibilities involve overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure at Grand Prix circuits and broadcast facilities, with a focus on high-redundancy power systems and remote monitoring. Prior to this, Alex worked as a Principal Electrician, Senior Electrician, and held various positions in freelance roles and companies such as Impact Productions and Wwave, demonstrating expertise in project management and event electrical systems. Academic qualifications include a Certificate III in Electrotechnology from Swinburne University of Technology and an Advanced Diploma in Communications and Audio Engineering from JMC (University of New England).
