George Workman

George Workman is an experienced electronics technician and engineer currently working with Formula 1 as an Electronics Technician for onboard cameras since May 2021. In addition, George founded WorkingDesign in March 2020, focusing on the design and remanufacture of hard-to-find car parts and OEM sensor interfacing, particularly for the Alfa Romeo range. Previous roles include NPD Technician at Gunnebo Entrance Control, where responsibilities involved product design and validation, and various positions at ASL, including Junior Project Manager, Project Support Engineer, and CAD Engineer. George began a career in customer service as a Checkout Assistant at Tesco. Academic qualifications include apprenticeships and degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Italian Studies from several institutions, including the University of Sussex, Sigta, Crawley College, and Sussex Downs College.
