Torben Olsen

Torben Olsen is an experienced professional in motorsport operations and management, currently serving as the Head of Race Development at Formula 1 since October 2021. Prior to this role, Torben held the position of Operations Director at W Series and SuperCharge Group. Torben's extensive background includes a tenure at IMG, where contributions were made as Vice President & Managing Director of Rallycross, as well as in various operational roles, including Managing Director of Speedway. Early career positions included account management roles at IMG and Benfield Sports International, focusing on the BSI Speedway and Scandinavian markets. Torben holds a BSc in Economics & Business Administration from Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University, obtained from 2002 to 2005.
