Simon Gao

Simon Gao is a seasoned Principal Hardware Engineer at Fortinet since July 2012, where responsibilities include the definition, implementation, management, and release of high-speed networking security boards and systems. Prior to this role, Simon was a Hardware Engineer at Supermicro from November 2010 to July 2012, focusing on server motherboards, schematic design, PCB layout, debugging, and product maintenance. Earlier experience as a Hardware Engineer at Shenzhen GAEA Electronics involved designing motherboards for Industrial PCs and notebooks, while work at QDI Technology Limited included motherboard design for desktops and industrial PCs. Simon holds a Bachelor's degree in Automation from Tsinghua University, obtained in 2006.
