Debra Silimeo

Debra Silimeo is an experienced professional with a robust background in public relations and communications. Currently serving as a Board Member at Forum One and a Member of the Board of Governors at the National Press Club, Silimeo is also the President of The Silimeo Group since July 2019. Previous roles include Board Member at Blue Drop, LLC, and Executive Vice President at Hager Sharp Inc. Silimeo’s past involvement with the National Press Club includes participation on the Speakers Committee, and recognition as WWPR's PR "Woman of the Year." Silimeo has held significant positions in government, including Deputy Director of Public Affairs for the U.S. Department of Commerce and Associate Administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration, where contributions significantly impacted communication strategies. Silimeo holds a degree from Temple University and was a Fellow in Economics and Business Journalism at Columbia University.
