Fred Solano has over 30 years of experience in various roles within the information technology field. Fred is currently the Director of IT Infrastructure and Security at Foundation Partners Group. Prior to that, they were a Senior IT Business Consultant, providing strategic designs and solutions to clients. Fred has also held managerial positions at Hilton Grand Vacations, Greyson Technologies Inc., and Presidio, where they oversaw IT operations and service delivery. Before their career in the private sector, Solano served in the United States Air Force, where they gained experience in system operations and weapons training.
Fred Solano has a diverse education history. Fred obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and an Associate's Degree in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1991 to 1995. During the same period, they also earned an Associate's Degree in Aircraft Armament Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
Prior to their college education, Fred attended Methodist High School from 1980 to 1985, where they completed their High School education.
Additionally, Fred has obtained several certifications in the field of computer networking. In 2000, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification. Seven years later, in 2007, they earned the Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) certification. Most recently, in 2017, Fred obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNP Collaboration) certification.
