Catherine Murphy

Visiting Professor at Framingham State University

Catherine Murphy is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in teaching English Language Learners and mentoring educators. Currently serving as a Visiting Professor at Framingham State University since January 2024, Catherine also holds the position of English Second Language Specialist at Lexington Public Schools since October 2008, where responsibilities include providing pull-out instruction for ELLs, delivering professional development courses, and mentoring new teachers. Catherine has contributed as an Adjunct Faculty Member at MATSOL and served as Program Director for the Fiske Mentor Program, securing grant funding to support newcomer mentoring.
