Prior to founding Francisco Partners in 1999, Neil was a Managing Director of Friedman Fleischer & Lowe, a leading San Francisco private equity firm. Earlier in his career, Neil was a Vice President with Summit Partners. He started his career as an attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati in Palo Alto and with Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York.
Neil serves on the board of directors of Optanix, Pet Circle, and Quantros. He is a former director of AKQA (General Atlantic), Connecture, Dextrys, Ex Libris (Leeds), Heat Software, Lynx Medical Systems (Picis), Mincom (ABB), Nextech, NextTraq (Fleetcor), Office Tiger (RR Donnelley), Quadramed, Smartfocus, Specific Media, T-System (Fidelity National), Xcellenet (Sybase), Webtrends (Oracle), IMPAC Medical Systems (Elekta), Card Capture Services (eTrade), and HMT Technology (Komag).
