James France

James France currently serves as Chief Acquisition Officer and Group Head of Real Estate at Frasers Group since November 2017, overseeing a global real estate department that manages approximately 1,000 stores across 26 countries, supporting the group’s growth across various fascias including Sports Direct and Flannels. Prior to this role, James held positions such as Head of Global Leasehold Properties at Frasers Group, Leasehold Portfolio Manager at Sports Direct International, Development Surveyor at Commercial Estates Group, and Surveyor at GVA Property Consultancy, with a focus on restructuring and recovery within the property market. James began his career as an Assistant Surveyor at Fisher German LLP after completing a Bachelor of Science in Planning and Property Development from Nottingham Trent University.
