Johann Feckl

Johann Feckl has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a research manager at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft from an unspecified date in 2015 until September 2016. From October 2016 to March 2020, they served as the Head of Presidential Staff at the same organization, eventually becoming the Director of Presidential Staff. Starting from March 2020, they took on the role of Director of International Affairs and Internal Research Programs. In May 2020, they also became the Product Owner of SAP strategic portfolio management at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.

In 2018, Johann Feckl joined Fraunhofer Chile as its President, a position they still hold. In 2019, they also became the Director of Fraunhofer USA, serving on its Board of Directors and Officers. This role continued until December 2022.

Earlier in their career, Johann Feckl worked as a scientific manager at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München, specifically managing the SolTech Network from July 2013 to January 2015. Prior to that, they were a PhD student at LMU München from November 2009 to June 2013. Additionally, Feckl worked as a freelance consultant at NanoScape AG from July 2010 to December 2013.

Johann Feckl completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemie und Biochemie from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2008. Johann then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemie from the same university, which they completed in 2009. Johann furthered their studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and received a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.) in Physikalische Chemie in 2013. In 2022, they attended the IESE Business School for the BAP Business Acceleration Program, focusing on Executive Education and General Management.
