Ulrich Gerth

Ulrich Gerth has extensive experience in science management, technology transfer, and innovation management, currently serving as a member of the review panel for the Helmholtz Association's funding programme "Validation Projects" and as a Liaison Manager at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. Gerth has held multiple leadership roles, including Senior Strategic Advisor for Science Policy & Corporate Development at the Federal Agency For Disruptive Innovation SPRIN-D and as a Gutachter. Gerth founded and served as CEO of ISAR Bioscience GmbH, establishing it as a key center for stem cell research. Previous positions include Designated Managing Director at the CARE Institute and Deputy Head of Business Development at IPB-AG. Gerth's educational background includes a D.Phil. in Molecular Immunology from the University of Oxford and a Dipl. Biochem. in Biochemistry from Universität Witten/Herdecke.
