Jay Satterfield

Jay Satterfield serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Director of Endowment and Investment Management at Freed-Hardeman University since January 2010. With a robust background in finance, Satterfield's prior experience includes serving as Senior Vice President and West TN Manager for asset management services at Regions Bank from May 2000 to October 2009, and holding the position of Vice President as a Trust Officer and Portfolio Manager at AmSouth Bank between October 1996 and May 2000. Additionally, Satterfield worked at Jackson National Bank for a decade, progressing to 1st Vice President, where responsibilities included branch banking, commercial lending, and trust and asset management. Satterfield earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Freed-Hardeman University, completing the degree between 1981 and 1986.
