Brant Whiting is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in water management and engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Tailings, Crushed Leach & Water at Freeport-McMoRan since January 2013, Brant specializes in mine water management. Previous roles include Chief Engineer and Senior Engineer at Utah State University, where Brant focused on water quality monitoring and developed mathematical models to enhance measurement accuracy. Prior to that, Brant was a Project Leader at LTAP, managing various projects and technical reporting, and held the position of Project Manager and Programmer at RR Donnelly, where exceptional organizational skills were honed. Brant holds a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems, all from Utah State University.
