Adam Izzard has extensive work experience in the field of information security. Adam is currently employed as the Head of Information Security at Freeths LLP since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Rotork as an Information Security Officer from January 2019 to September 2022. Adam also has a long history of service in the British Army, where they held the position of Foreman of Signals (Information Systems) from September 1995 to August 2018.

From 2010 to 2011, they attended Bournemouth University and obtained a Foundation Degree in Science with a concentration in Management of Military Information Systems.
From 1991 to 1993, they attended Eashampstead Park School - Sixth Form, where they completed their A Levels.
From 1988 to 1991, they attended Easthampstead Park School and completed their GCSE's.
In addition to their formal education, Adam Izzard obtained several certifications over the years. Specifically, in 2022, they became a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) through ISACA. In 2018, they acquired the certifications of GDPR - Certified Data Protection Officer and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer from PECB. In 2016, they attained the CompTIA Security+ ce certification, as well as the AgilePM (2014) Foundation and Practitioner certifications from APMG International. In the same year, they obtained the Level 6 Diploma in Management and Leadership (QCF) from the Chartered Management Institute. Prior to that, in 2012, they gained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and in 2006, they achieved the ECDL - European Computer Driving Licence from the same institution, along with the CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA A+ certifications from CompTIA. Furthermore, in 2005, they completed the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and The Defence CIDA Installation Design Course from DEI&IS. In 2003, they acquired the Data Communications Cable Installation and Testing (Copper) certification from City & Guilds. Adam also holds a National Diploma in Engineering from BTEC, which they earned in 2001. In 2000, they completed the Telecommunications Modern Apprenticeship from nto telecom, and in 1999, they obtained the Key Skills Certificate at Level 3 from OCR, as well as the NVQ Level 3 - Providing a Telecommunications Service from intelect. Lastly, in 1999, they completed the Optical Fibre Installation and Testing certifications for both Multimode Fibre and Singlemode Fibre from City & Guilds.
