Alan M. Dachs is Chair of Fremont Group. Mr. Dachs is a member of the Board of Directors of Bechtel Group, Inc. and Chair of its Finance Committee. He is a retired member of the Board of Directors of the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation, and a member of the Board of Directors of X2X, LLC. He is a Senior Trustee of the Brookings Institution, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences where he is Chair of the Academy’s Trust and Vice Chair of its Board of Directors. Mr. Dachs is Chair Emeritus of the Board of Trustees of The Conference Board. He retired from the Board of Trustees of MIT Corporation in 2019. Mr. Dachs serves on the Board of Trustees of The Landmark School, and is Chair Emeritus of the Board of Trustees of Wesleyan University where he received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters. Mr. Dachs has a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from New York University.
