Adam Smith is vice president of Decision Support and Financial Planning for Froedtert Health. He was promoted to this role in January 2022, after serving as senior director for Financial Planning and Analysis in 2018. In addition to leading the Decision Support and Financial Planning teams, he provides leadership for hospital site financial performance.
Adam joined Froedtert West Bend Hospital in 2000 as an administrative and finance intern while he attended college. Upon graduation, he joined the finance team as an analyst. When FWBH integrated with Froedtert Health, he joined the system as an analyst in Strategic Planning & Business Development. In 2012, he joined the Medical College of Wisconsin’s financial planning team and held progressive operational and finance leadership roles, ultimately serving as senior director for financial planning and analysis. Since rejoining Froedtert Health in 2018, he and has made significant contributions to the decision support, financial planning and budget processes.
