Richard Durost

Richard Durost is a seasoned information security leader with extensive experience across various sectors, including healthcare and military. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Froedtert Health since January 2019, responsibilities include directing information security governance and operations while integrating IT cybersecurity efforts between Froedtert Health and ThedaCare. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Security Operations and Cyber Defense at Providence St. Joseph Health, where strategic protection of systems and networks was paramount. With a strong foundational background from the US Army, where Richard attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and held various leadership positions, Richard has a proven track record in managing security programs and operations across diverse environments. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and French from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
