Chang Evelyn Ren

Chang Evelyn Ren is a Senior Scientist II at Frontage Laboratories, Inc, with a career progression from Scientist II to Senior Scientist I since January 2019. Prior to this role, Chang served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Drexel University from September 2013 to September 2017, where research focused on designing and synthesizing membranes from two-dimensional MXene nanosheets and studying the impacts of surface functional groups. Earlier experience includes work as a Research Assistant at Northwestern Polytechnical University from September 2010 to March 2012, where investigations addressed HCl corrosion on CVD-SiC coatings and morphological analysis of pyrolytic carbon coatings. Chang holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from Northwestern Polytechnical University.
