Debbie Gowland

Debbie Gowland is the Head of Risk at LSEG, focusing on FTSE Russell, Data Intelligence, D&A COO, and Transformation since January 2023. Previously, from September 2015 to January 2023, Debbie served as Managing Director for Global Benchmarks & Indices at Citi, where responsibility included overseeing the development and governance of benchmark strategies across all asset classes. Prior to that role, Debbie was a Director at Deutsche Bank from June 2002 to June 2012, specializing in the development of innovative equity and multi-asset indices and managing relationships for index calculation. Debbie began their career in Cash Management at UBS from July 2000 to June 2002. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Warwick, obtained from 1997 to 2000.
