Barbara Geelen

Barbara Geelen is a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer and Board member with a robust track record in international private equity and corporate finance. Currently serving as the CFO at Fugro since May 2021, Barbara previously held the same position and was a board member at HES International B.V. from March 2014 to February 2021, where substantial responsibilities included leading strategic development and financial management across multiple sectors. Barbara's experience spans key roles at notable institutions, including ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and RBS, focusing on equity capital markets, restructuring, and leveraged finance. An adept project manager, Barbara has successfully overseen capital projects and M&A transactions, demonstrating expertise in risk management, investor relations, and financial planning.
