Benjamin Craske

Principal Scientist at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies

Benjamin Craske serves as a Principal Scientist at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies since July 2022, focusing on the development of downstream purification processes for recombinant proteins. Previously, Benjamin completed a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology at The University of Edinburgh, where research centered on chromosome congression during cell division. Earlier experience at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies includes roles as a Research Scientist and a Placement Student, where Benjamin developed protein purification processes and operated large-scale bioprocessing equipment. Benjamin holds a First Class Honours degree in Biological Sciences from Durham University and gained initial exposure to protein purification techniques during a voluntary placement at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies.
