Byron Hoefer has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing engineering field. Byron currently holds the position of Senior Manufacturing and Process Engineer at Fulfil since November 2021. Prior to this, they had a significant tenure at Tesla, where they held various roles. Byron started as an Associate Industrial Engineer in July 2015 and progressed to roles such as Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, Senior Process Engineer, and Senior Manufacturing Engineer. Finally, they served as an Associate Manager, Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering from November 2020 to June 2021. Before joining Tesla, Byron had internships in manufacturing engineering at Alcoa Fastening Systems in 2014 and Vaupell in 2013, 2012, and 2011.
Byron Hoefer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2014. Byron then pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Integrated Technology Management from the same institution, graduating in 2015.
