Chris Powell

Chris Powell is a seasoned professional in security, privacy, and compliance, currently serving as a Senior Security GRC Analyst at FullStory since May 2021, focusing on ISO 27701 implementation and vendor management improvements. Prior experience includes a role as a Security Compliance Analyst at MindGeek, where compliance audits and data privacy effectiveness were key responsibilities. As a Canadian Advisory Board Member for the IAPP, Chris contributed to content development for privacy professionals. Previous positions include managing privacy and compliance at Coconut Software, overseeing security procedures at the John Howard Society of Saskatoon, and leading shelter operations at Lookout Emergency Aid Society. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dalton State College.
