Nick Hollingshead

Nick Hollingshead is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology strategy and team management. Currently serving as Engineering Director and Group Engineering Manager at FutureLearn since January 2022, Nick focuses on mentoring development teams and overseeing recruitment for various engineering roles. Previously, as Head of Technology at Alamy from November 2008 to January 2022, Nick defined technology strategy and led engineering teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Additional roles at Alamy include IT Services Manager and Network Administrator, where responsibilities encompassed global IT infrastructure and service delivery. Earlier career experiences at Ashfords as a Systems Administrator and IT Technician contributed to a solid foundation in IT support and infrastructure management. Nick holds a Master of Physics degree from the University of Warwick.
