Selameab S.

Selameab S. has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and research. They started their career as a Programmer at iCog Labs, where they worked in various capacities from Programmer I to Programmer III between 2015 and 2017. They then joined Addis Ababa University as a Teaching Assistant from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, Selameab became a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa.

In 2020, Selameab worked as a Computer Vision Research Intern at Synopsys Inc. The following year, they joined LeddarTech/University of Ottawa as a Research Intern. In 2021, Selameab worked as a Software Developer at Sensor Cortek and later took on the role of a Perception Software Engineer at Quanergy from January 2022 to February 2023.

Currently, in 2023, Selameab is working as a Research Engineer at Fyusion, Inc. throughout the year.

Selameab S. has a Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Addis Ababa University. Additionally, Selameab has completed several certifications, including "Fundamentals of Accelerated Computing with CUDA C/C" from NVIDIA in September 2022, "Learning React.js" from LinkedIn in December 2021, "Parallel and Concurrent Programming with C++ Part 1" from LinkedIn in October 2021, and "Deep Learning Specialization" from Coursera in March 2018.
