Joyce Hawkins

Joyce Hawkins is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Special Education Teacher, English Language Learners instructor, and Life Skills Coach at Gainesville ISD since June 2023. With a career spanning over two decades in various educational roles, Joyce has previously worked as an Educational Consultant specializing in ELL Literacy at Iris Innovation and Reading Bay Education & Technology Co. From August 2022 to April 2023, Joyce led the Customer Care Team at FEV Tutor, implementing quality assurance measures to enhance customer service. Joyce's extensive experience at Gainesville ISD includes roles such as Instructional Interventionist, Educational Coach, and ELAR Department Lead, where Joyce developed intervention programs and targeted learning plans for diverse student needs. With a Master's degree in Literacy Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Joyce combines educational expertise with a strong analytical background.
