Adriano Bastos

Adriano Bastos has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, holding senior leadership positions at major companies. At Galp, Adriano serves as Senior Vice President of Upstream. Previous roles include President and Senior Vice President/Managing Director for bp in the Angola region, and President of Upstream. Adriano also held significant positions at GE Oil & Gas as Brazil Director, and at Schlumberger as Vice President of the Drilling Group for Latin America, along with other leadership roles in completions and area integration. Adriano's career began at Halliburton as a Field Engineer specializing in cementing and fracturing services. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense and studies in Economics and Finance at the University of Michigan.
