Prior to this, Wilson was the Director of Sustainable Innovation at Gap Inc. where Wilson led renewable energy strategies, developed climate goals, and managed sustainability projects. Before that, Wilson founded Produce Fresh Apparel, a sustainable menswear brand, and also worked at Rainforest Alliance as a Senior Associate, focusing on building procurement strategies and market demand for sustainably sourced products. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University.
