Josh Tovar is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in school administration. Currently serving as Principal at Garland Independent School District, Tovar previously held the position of School Principal at Socorro ISD from June 2015 to March 2019 and served as Assistant Principal at Bel Air High School from June 2011 to June 2016. Tovar holds multiple degrees from Sul Ross State University, including two Master of Education degrees in Secondary School Administration/Principalship and Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services, as well as a Master's degree in History and a Bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Education from The University of Texas at El Paso.
